05 Goldsmith identification mark

In accordance with Italian Legislative Decree no. 251 of 22 May 1999 and the implementing regulation D.P.R. 150/2002 governing precious metal objects, every solid gold creation by Donzella bears the registered identification mark issued by the Chamber of Commerce of Milan Monza Brianza Lodi, together with the legal hallmark indicating the fineness of the metal (e.g. 750 for 18 kt gold).

The identification mark is the means by which each Donzella creation can be traced back to its maker. It is engraved alongside the fineness stamp on a discreet, non-prominent area of the piece.

06 Authorisations and professional registrations

Donzella di Thomas Donzella operates in accordance with all licences, authorisations and registrations required for the artisanal production and online sale of fine jewellery and ancillary luxury goods under Italian and European Union law, including obligations relating to:

• Anti-money laundering and customer due diligence (Italian Legislative Decree 231/2007 and subsequent amendments);
• Trade in precious metals and gemstones, including conformity with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme for rough diamonds where applicable;
• Italian Chamber of Commerce registration for the artisanal goldsmith activity;
• Tax, customs and consumer protection obligations applicable to online distance selling within the European Union.

07 Applicable codes and supervisory authorities

The professional activity of Donzella di Thomas Donzella is subject to the general regulations of the Italian Civil Code, the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), the Italian Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003) as amended in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), and the legislation governing electronic commerce, precious metal goods and customer due diligence.

The principal Italian supervisory authorities competent for the matters relevant to this Website are:
