PACKAGING | Donzella

The Maison

Packaging The ritual of presentation

Ten cases, one Maison.

A case is the first
silence of the piece.

Every Donzella creation is accompanied by its own ritual of presentation. The cases that follow are the official Donzella packaging for all jewellery pieces, crafted to reflect the codes of the Maison and proportionally adapted to the type of jewel they hold.

Two photographs for each colour: one closed, the way it reaches your hands, and one open, on the morning of its unveiling.

I

The craft of the case

Each case is built around the piece it will contain. The outer shell is shaped to receive the jewel without pressure on its most fragile points, the inner cradle hand cut to its exact silhouette.

The colours follow the codes of the Maison: deep saturated tones, never neutral, never quiet, each colour family answering to its own finish and texture. The satin case keeps its silken hand, the cocco cases are sheathed in a crocodile textured leatherette. Inside every case, the certificate sleeve in bordeaux and gold.

A Donzella case is a small object of its own, designed to be kept long after the unboxing.

For High Jewellery commissions, an exclusive case is individually designed and crafted for the single piece it will hold.

III

High Jewellery cases

For High Jewellery commissions and UNICA pieces, the standard collection gives way to an exclusive case, individually designed and crafted around the single creation it will hold. Materials, dimensions, lining and closure are chosen to mirror the piece, and no two High Jewellery cases are ever made twice.

These cases are conceived as part of the commission itself, presented to the client during the final approval stage, and delivered together with the piece in a dedicated outer trunk.

IV

Care of the case

The case is part of the piece. Keep it away from direct sunlight and from prolonged humidity, both of which can fade satin and velvet over time. To remove dust, brush the lining gently in the direction of the pile with a soft, dry cloth.

The original case is also part of the conditions for return and for the Trade-In programme. Should it become damaged, please contact [email protected] for a replacement at cost.

Before the piece, the case

Open it slowly.
That, too, is the gift.
